Pagemaster, The

The Pagemaster is a side-scrolling action-adventure video game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1994. The game is based on the movie of the same name and follows a young boy named Richard who is transported into a magical library where he must navigate through various classic literary worlds, defeat enemies, and collect books while trying to find his way back to the real world. The game features platforming gameplay with puzzle-solving elements and incorporates many iconic characters from classic literature such as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Moby Dick, and The Phantom of the Opera.
