Princess Maker - Legend of Another World is a life simulation game developed by Gainax and published by Takara for the Super Famicom (SNES) in 1993. In the game, the player assumes the role of a warrior who saves a young girl from a demon, and is granted custody of her by the king. The player must raise the girl as a princess over the course of eight years, guiding her education, activities, and social life to shape her into one of many possible paths, such as a queen, soldier, or adventurer. The game's mix of RPG elements and dating sim-style gameplay has made it a cult classic in Japan and influenced later games in the Princess Maker series.
