"Advanced Dungeons and Dragons: Heroes of the Lance" is a side-scrolling action-adventure game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1991. The game is based on the "Dragonlance" series of fantasy novels and features eight characters from the books as playable heroes. The player must guide their chosen hero through various levels filled with enemies and obstacles, collecting items and defeating bosses along the way. The goal of the game is to retrieve the Disks of Mishakal and defeat the evil dragon, Khisanth.
