Star Trek: The Next Generation is a video game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1993. It is based on the science fiction television series of the same name and features gameplay that combines exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving elements. The player takes on the role of Captain Jean-Luc Picard and must lead the crew of the USS Enterprise through various missions to protect the Federation from hostile alien threats.
