Rockman 3, known as Mega Man 3 outside of Japan, is an action-platform video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1990. It is the third installment in the original Mega Man series and follows the titular hero, Mega Man, as he sets out to stop the evil Dr. Wily from taking over the world with his latest set of robot masters. The game features eight new robot master bosses, each with its unique stage and weapon, that Mega Man must defeat to progress through the game. The game also introduces Mega Man's robotic canine companion, Rush, who can transform into various forms to help Mega Man navigate levels and reach previously inaccessible areas. Like its predecessors, Rockman 3/Mega Man 3 is known for its challenging gameplay, memorable music, and colorful graphics.
