Contra III: The Alien Wars is a run and gun action game developed by Konami for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Players control soldiers Bill Rizer and Lance Bean as they battle through various levels filled with hordes of alien enemies and massive bosses. The game features both side-scrolling and top-down levels, as well as numerous power-ups and weapons to aid in the fight against the alien invasion. It also includes a two-player cooperative mode for added gameplay options.
